Spring Break Staycation- Post #2 (Tuesday and Wednesday)

Beautiful sky

After I dropped Crazy One off at school, I traveled to Ghostlight Coffee for my breakfast.  That place was so busy!!!

Then it was onto Esther Price Chocolates for Easter baskets.

After visiting those delicious places, I decided a walk was in order so I went to Woodland Cemetery.  Woodland Cemetery is where a lot of prominent Daytonians are buried such as the Wright Brothers, Paul Laurence Dunbar, and Erma Brombeck.  (The first link on Woodland Cemetery will take you to the famous people buried there.  The second link on Woodland Cemetery will take you to gravesite stories.)

I was so hungry after all the walking that I decided I needed to go get some lunch.  I ended up at Butter Cafe near the University of Dayton.  I chose the Peaches and Cream French Toast with free range bacon for lunch.  Oh my goodness was it delicious!  Since I had walked over an hour at the Woodland Cemetery, I was famished.

Before heading home, I stopped at Bad Frog Yogurt for a small dessert.

I had to take one last picture before heading home.

Tuesday night, I decided we were going to visit Walt Disney World without actually going there.  How, you might say?  Through copycat recipes from Walt Disney World.

We had All-American Sandwiches from Earl of Sandwich and then for dessert I had a copycat Dole Whip.  Fantastic way to enjoy some of my favorites from Walt Disney World.

I ended the day by taking Know-it-All to Boy Scouts.  Crazy One and I visited the library while his brother was in the meeting.
This beautiful sunset made my Tuesday staycation complete.

On Wednesday, I was planning to head to Old Navy and the Huffman Prairie Flying Field and Interpretive Center but I changed my plans.

Instead I headed to the Cincinnati Premium Outlets.  I ended up being the first person in the Disney Store so they asked me to help open the store.  Such a magical moment for me.

I also got to talk to one of the Cast Members who had been in the College Program also.  It's so nice to talk to someone who understands the experience.

After I did some shopping, I went to Menchie's Frozen Yogurt looking for Dole Whip.  They had had it but didn't currently have any.  (Insert sad face.) I'll try again at another time.

Tonight I made copycat Zaxby's for dinner.  It was good but not the same.

My fresh green beans from Fresh Thyme didn't get in the picture.

After Crazy One left for dance, Know-it-All and I went out for ice cream at The Inside Scoop.

Thanks for checking out my staycation.
