Homemade Double Chocolate Chip "Frappuccinos"

Know-it-All loves to go to Starbucks.  His favorite drink there is the double chocolately chip frappucino.  This weekend he asked me to find a recipe for homemade frappuccinos.  So far we've made it twice and are in love with the recipe.

Homemade Double Chocolate Chip "Frappuccinos"
Stars of the recipe:
  • 2 c. of milk
  • 2 c. of ice (I use crushed ice.)
  • 4 Tbsp. of chocolate syrup
  • 4 Tbsp. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  1. Place all the ingredients into the blender cup.
  2. Process until blended.  (I use the smoothie button.)
  3. Serve in a cup with whipped cream and chocolate syrup drizzle.
  4. Enjoy with a thick straw!
Makes 2 to 3 servings.

Monday Ramblings - Feb. 1

It's another Monday.  Time for another update of what's going on in my life.

They had their annual Pinewood Derby on Saturday.  Know-it-All spent his snow day whittling his car.  His was a make believe creature.  I just wished he didn't paint it brown because it didn't look right that color.

Crazy One made a LEGO brick.  He did't do any cutting to his car.  Instead he cut a dowel rod into equal pieces and glued them on his car.  He then spray painted his car bright orange.  It was an original car.

Here are a few other pictures from the Pinewood Derby:

They also decided Saturday they were going to start sewing using their grandma's sewing machine.  Crazy One made his own scarf on Saturday and then Sunday he made himself some mittens.  He told us that he is going to wear the scarf and mittens to school.

Overheard at My House

"Can you get me a blanket?  My feet are tired."  - Crazy One's feet fell asleep.

My Car

I walked out of my school on Wednesday.  Luckily I saw the rear driver's side tire was flat.  I had to call AAA and wait for them to come and put the spare tire on my car.

The next morning I went to get my tire patched before heading to work.  This is what caused my tire to deflate:

Random, huh?!?

Another Disney College Program Vlog

I found this vlog this past week.  Lissy is from Staten Island and just started her College Program.  Her role is costumer.

This vlog is funny because she is trying to figure out how to use the laundry machines at her complex.
