My Fortieth Birthday Disney Cruise - Post #8 - My Birthday Dinner

After the "Golden Mickeys," we went back to our favorite little cafe' and got an antipasto plate.

Then we went out to Deck 4, which is also the running deck, to watch the sunset.  It was absolutely beautiful!

Next stop was our dinner.  The Disney Cruise Line has a rotating dinner schedule.  You  are given a table number and if you are a couple, other couples to sit with.

Each night you eat at one of the 3 restaurants - Enchanted Garden, Royal Palace, and Animator's Palate.  The same server moves from restaurant to restaurant with you.

There are also 2 different seating times - first one which is  at about 5:45 and the second one which is  at 8:15.  The Broadway shows were at the same times as the dinner times so that each group got to see the show.

On my birthday, we ate at the Enchanted Garden which is on deck 2.

On the way to the dinner:

We were seated with three other couples.  The conversation flowed during dinner.  I'm in contact with 2 of the ladies which is cool!  (I'll introduce you to them in a later post.)

Oh, and it was everyone's birthday that night.  They had Hubby's birthday as that night and another person's.  It ended up the guy next to Hubby was having a birthday on the next Wednesday so we celebrated his birthday.  We still celebrated the third's unbirthday!

Warning:  There are a lot of pictures from my birthday celebration.

As soon as the dinner was over, we were absolutely exhausted.  So we went to bed.

The next post is going to be about Nassau, Bahamas and how our waterproof camera's battery died.

Until next time, have a magical day!
